Cher would be proud. The knee high sock trend has invaded the streets in all sorts of styles. I believe this recent interest in the thigh high beauties was birthed from the Prada runways...Muiccia probably got her idea from the japanese Harajuku girls; not Britney Spears in Hit Me Baby One More Time.
Anyway, I'm definitely a fan; I managed to grab a pair of gray Prada thigh highs from where I was interning in Paris this summer. They're thin as hell, but gorgeous.
SO, basically, knee high socks are absolutely adorable, and will cover up your bare legs in the dead of winter. Layering them over tights is fun as well, and you can wear them with pretty much any shoe--flats, heels, platforms; hey, why not even try them with combat boots? I love their Lolita feel; they're all over the Satorialist and Face Hunter, but I certainly have not seen them in my school, which is good for those looking to set some trends!

PESCEVEGETARIANS

Someone congratulate me on my first blog post! I've been dying to have a blog over the past year (after all, blog is the new black) but I made an 'ex' friend of mine a promise that I would not make one because she made her blog first. How very middle-school of us. I guess not using my real name will be very helpful in this situation. Her blog sucks anyways ;)

Ive been brainstorming about a good post, and a VERY heated debate about vegetarians who eat fish are not really vegetarians took place at my lunch table in the cafeteria today. So why not post some of the exotic, animal inspired looks showing up on the runways for 2008? -theverybusyspider

Wow so first post! I hope you all enjoy- I have some more ideas for future posts but I thought I would start out small..didnt want to start out with anything...too daring. These our some of; in my opinion some of the most inspirational fashion models- they are fierce on the runway and have an amazing personal style. I love Sasha's use of dark colors, Cinthia's innoncent look, Agyness's wild and funky attitude and Irina's use of accessories-enjoy!
